Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU)

Transportation to NTU:

By Taxi: Inform the taxi driver that you want to go to National Taiwan University. You can also specify that you want to go to the entrance on Xinhai Road (The Language Training and Testing Center, LTTC), as it is closer to the conference venue. The taxi fare from Taipei Main Station to NTU is approximately 250 NT dollars.
You may also ask the driver to drive to the conference venue directly in two ways as follows,
A) Fuxing South Road Entrance: Once inside the campus, make a right turn at the first intersection. Go straight and make a left turn on Sweetgum Ave. Go straight for about 50 meters, then make a right turn at the first intersection. Continue along the end, and the conference venue will be on the left side.
B) University’s Main Entrance: Once inside the campus, continue along Royal Palm Blvd. until the end, then make a left turn onto Palm Ave. The conference venue will be at the corner of Palm Ave. and Water Fir Ave.

By MRT
A) From Taoyuan International Airport (TPE):
Take the Airport MRT line to Taipei Main Station (A12/A13 to A1), then transfer to the MRT (see b.)
B) From Taipei Main Station
Take the Tamsui-Xinyi Line (Red Line, towards Xiangshan) to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station (R10 to R08), then transfer to the Xindian Line (Green Line, towards Xindian) to Gongguan Station (G10 to G07), and walk for approximately 15 minutes (see 3a.).
C) From Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA):
Take the Wenhu Line (Brown Line, towards Taipei Zoo) to Technology Building Station (BR 13 to BR08), and walk for approximately 15 minutes (see 3b.).

Walking from MRT Stations to NTU:
A) From MRT Gongguan Station:
Take Exit 3, and walk northwest along Roosevelt Road for about 3 minutes. You will find the main entrance of the university on your right. Once inside the campus, continue along Royal Palm Blvd. until the end, then make a left turn onto Palm Ave. The conference venue will be at the corner of Palm Ave. and Water Fir Ave.
B) From MRT Technology Building Station:
Walk south along Fuxing South Road, then cross Xinhai Road and make a right turn. The side entrance will be on your left. Once inside the campus, walk along Sweetgum Ave., then make a right turn onto Water Fir Ave. The conference venue will be at the corner of Palm Ave. and Water Fir Ave.

Banquet Venue
LA MARÉE
Address: 2F, No.16, Siyuan St., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
Transportation from NTU to LA MARÉE (Banquet Venue):

By taxi: Exit the campus from the Xinhai Road exit and hail a taxi on this side of the gate. The taxi fare from NTU to LA MARÉE is around 150 NTD.

By foot: Walk south along Palm Ave., then turn onto Royal Palm Blvd. Follow the road until you reach the main gate. After exiting the main gate, cross Roosevelt Road, then continue straight through the alley and proceed along Siyuan Street. The Banquet venue will be on your right-hand side. The entire journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
